Not Even The Bucs Knew Who Returned That Kickoff For Them Yesterday

Monday, December 17, 2007

This isn't nearly as funny as the team of Vasgersian and Pearson calling him Morgan Spurlock (true story), but it's close. The Tampa Bay Bucs Website can't seem to figure out who this Michael Spurlock character is or where he's even from. Via SbB...

I'm not even sure which one to believe. One has his first name as Michael and one as Micheal, and he's from Mississippe? Shouldn't that have an accent aigu on the end (the ten of you that took French will get that joke)???

He was the Ole Miss quarterback after "unstoppable" Eli Manning. And he's already done something more significant than Mr. Unstoppable has ever done in the NFL.

ESPN's ticker had him as "Morgan Spurlock" for a couple of turns through the rota as well.

I'm more of an accent circumflex guy (the only other thing I remember from French class).

Oh come on, AA, that's a tad nitpicky. No one has worked at the Tampa Bay Bucs website since nineteen-dickety-two.
